“YES, HERE!” is an audio-visual media art work that literally and figuratively tells a story about the main values of the district Jaunā Teika – feeling at home, fast-paced life, and innovations in every step, letting the fantasy run wild about what you can actually do HERE. The idea behind this work of art is based on the philosophical principles of Gestalt that state that our mind is capable of building a certain form of perception from different, seemingly unrelated units, and it possesses a certain and in independent reality – this perception exists on its own and therefore breaks the boundaries for the viewer between here, there, that, us, real, imaginary, possible. High resolution projectors are used in this work that, together with the musical accompaniment, illuminate the façade of the building and the screen in front of it to create an experience of a presence of “another reality”.
