In mother’s arms – one small world,
Child’s breath – the first song of life.
Love as eternal flow of a river.
The mother’s lips whisper: “You will never be alone.”
A little kid’s hand tightly grasps fingers,
And in that clasp – all the peace of the world.
The light artwork will be triggered by a recording of a new composition by Evija Vēbere, visualizing the music through laser beams and video projections onto a living “canvas” – an alley of trees. As the spectators’ viewpoint changes, the music visualization will change too. The laser projection will form an image from the endpoints, however, when one enters the installation, the laser beams will transform into a colourful world of light.
This is an artwork in the first Old Riga route of light. In the exhibition of nine light artworks “Moment of Love”, the artists seek their own moments of love and definitions of love.
