An image of a Menorah \u2013 a seven branched candelabrum has been projected on the fa\u00e7ade of R\u012bga\u2019s Jewish High School building at Miera iel\u0101 62, which was reconstructed this year. In Judaism, the Menorah symbolizes light, wisdom, renewal, life and wonder. It is similar to the unity and diversity of human nature: we all strive for the same goal, however, each of us chooses our own path.<\/p>\n

\nThe Menorah made of gold was located in the Temple in Jerusalem and was lit every night. When the Romans sacked the Temple in the year 70, they took the Menorah with them as well. Its further destiny is unknown.”
\nThis year the R\u012bga City Council Property Department commissioned the renovation of the building at Miera Street 62 which has now been completed, and R\u012bga\u2019s Jewish High School is making its move there from its previous site at Silciema Street 5 this autumn.<\/p>\n
