A colourful parade of fish in the Riga canal \u2013 this will become a reality during the Festival of Light because during this time the Warm Lands Delegation arrives in the city and will dwell in the canal near Bastion Hill.<\/p>\n

For city-dwellers, this is a rare chance to get to know the exotic warm water inhabitants that have taken it upon themselves to be transformed into light objects.<\/p>\n

The twinkling school of fish arranged in the waters of the Riga canal will create a sense of united progression and mutual communication. Each fish will be an independent, internally lit object while at the same time a component of the combined artistic composition.<\/p>\n

Approximately fifty lit fish will be best viewed from the Bastion Hill pedestrian bridge or from either side of the canal.<\/p>\n
