The Time Traveller \u2013 a mystical and secretive character from another time, space and dimension has arrived in Riga and will inhabit the Bastejkalns territory during the Festival of Light “Staro Riga”. It combines the elegance and charm of days gone by, the vision of a future world, and black and white surreal symbolism. The Time Traveller is a hero, whose duty is to surprise, seek associations and ask questions.<\/p>\n

The kinetic light installation Time Traveller is formed by the synthesis of various lighting elements and technology, which creates an unreal and undoubtedly intriguing effect.<\/p>\n

As the character shifts, changing the speed of movement, the play of the light effect also changes, making this the Festival\u2019s most mobile optical illusion.<\/p>\n
