The work was created by collaboration of Canadian artist France Jobin and German artist Markus Heckmann who drew inspiration from theories of quantum entanglement. The idea of quantum entanglement reveals an invisible connection between everything that exists. The elements do not have to be unified in space and time, because in the quantum world nothing exists as we perceive it.<\/p>\n

The event in Riga Old St. Gertrude\u2019s Church becomes an experience of being that takes you into a timeless dimension, connecting the past, the present and the future and exposing the entanglements that permeate the entire world.<\/p>\n

The project is supported by the Quebec Council for the Arts and Letters (Conseil des arts et des lettres du Qu\u00e9bec).<\/p>\n

To ensure the highest sound quality, the church will use the AED Audio FLEX6 and SOLID15 systems developed by experienced audio professionals will be used. It is one of the world’s most flexible audio systems, offering excellent sound quality, a wide range of products and multifunctional applications.<\/p>\n

An audiovisual performance will take place during the festival, performed live by the authors of the work (time will be announced separately).<\/em><\/p>\n
