The idea for the installation popped up from the author\u2019s personal experience working as a guide on sunrise adventures trail in the Pieriga swamps. On these mornings, the fog covering the swamp lakes becomes an integral companion to each sunrise. It hides and uncovers at the same time, creating a mysterious intermediate state \u2013 a moment when it is not yet day, but no longer night either. This transition between darkness and light is at the heart of the installation.<\/p>\n
\u201cLandmark\u201d symbolizes the moment of a person\u2019s inner transformation \u2013 a situation when uncertainty, confusion or changes obscure the direction, much like fog in a swamp.
