Every living room had a place where during the darkest times hope was maintained, knowledge accumulated and cultural identity forged and passed on.<\/p>\n<p>The projection was created in collaboration with Estonian artist Alyona Movko-M\u00e4gi and composer Maksim Adel, honouring both the shared Estonian and Latvian experience and the living spaces of culture, creating a strong link between the revolutionary moment when the first printed words appeared and the current hope for the preservation and continuity of our culture.<\/p>\n<p>Alyona Movko-M\u00e4gi is an Estonian artist and designer whose work combines light, video and spatial composition in theatres, large-scale events and contemporary art.
