Authors of the project idea:<\/strong> director and sound director K\u0101rlis Anitens, lighting designer Oskars Timbars, technical producer M\u0101rcis Gulbis <\/p>\n In 2025 we will celebrate the 160th anniversary of Rainis, the author of the \u201cGolden Horse\u201d, one of Latvia’s literary treasures and symbols. Rainis will celebrate his 160th birthday, but this year marks 115 years since Rainis wrote the play \u201cThe Golden Horse\u201d, which has become one of the symbols of our nation. This aspect addressed in Rainis\u2019 play is currently extremely important in society, as the events of recent years have proven that every person\u2019s actions affect the outcome \u2013 both for good and for bad. Next year also marks the 100th anniversary of the broadcast of \u201cLatvijas Radio\u201d. If we look at Latvian Radio from a philosophical point of view, we can discuss public media as a modern golden horse \u2013 a tool for achieving common growth in the age of disinformation.<\/p>\n The \u201cGolden Horse\u201d object is designed as a concentrated light and sound seven minutes performance. The main focus of the show is the growth of the main character Anti\u0146\u0161 and the search for the real golden horse in the world overburdened by various delusions and selfishness.
