TANGLE (MOODŽEKLIS)

The Art Academy of Latvia yard, Kalpaka blvd.13

“Moodžeklis” is an LED light installation – a three-dimensional network that explores the coexistence of order and chaos in light. The work is designed as a diffuse light structure without a specific center, where each line lives with its own rhythm, direction and intensity. These lines create a flowing yet uneven field of light that shifts depending on the observer’s point of view, creating a sense of movement and energy in space.

The installation reveals light as a transformative force – it illuminates and disperses, while simultaneously creating and disarraying shape. “Moodžeklis” embodies the state of dawn: the moment when a new order begins to emerge in the darkness, when a beginning is born from uncertainty. This light construction becomes a metaphor for inner renewal and the movement of consciousness – about how the moment of change carries within it both fragility and strength.
