GARDEN

Miera Street 20/22

“Garden” is a large-format interactive light projection that transforms the facade of a building into a digital garden inciting the audience to become part of the experience using their mobile devices. Using a mobile phone, observers can control bees and butterflies fluttering amongst the foliage projected onto the building, allowing everyone to participate in a shared play of light.

The installation combines art, technology and engagement, creating a living visual environment that transforms determined by the movements and actions of the audience. The garden on the screen is constantly growing and changing – vines and flowers come into bloom as people interact with the projection, generating a unique and constantly changing experience.

The author of the work, Ant Dickenson, is a new media artist specializing in interactive projections, sound installations and digital visualization. His works often explore the interaction between humans and technologies, turning architectural surfaces into living, breathing canvases of light.
