This year Rīga’s Central Market celebrates its eightieth year anniversary. Once the largest and most modern market in Europe, it has begun its revival with a renovated Vegetable Pavilion and ideas for its further development. The illuminated pavilion façades emphasize the market’s historical architectural importance.
