Venue: Vērmanes Garden

A mark is like a symbol which gives understanding of underlying principles, upon which this world stands. A pyramid as a symbol and form is humanity’s symbol. Their bases represent earth, the 4 corners (the four directions), and verticalness symbolizes the dialogue between earth and heaven. Humans are dependent on nature’s laws; hence we need to show respect and awe towards Latvia’s nature, earth and marks; which are beautiful and meaningful to our people.
