THE STORY OF LATVIA’S COAT OF ARMS
Cabinet of Ministers / Brīvības Boulevard 36
From legends and chronicles to today’s textbooks, the story of the compatibility of the colours carmine and white, also the words God Bless Latvia embellished in the scale of B major, have become Latvia’s national symbols. There is also a third symbol; mysterious and complex, but just as important as the other two, Latvia’s coat of arms. During the light festival, the Cabinet of Ministers building tells the Story of Latvia’s Coat of Arms! How much do you know about that story?
