During the festival “Staro Rīga”, the Railway Museum offers a chance to enjoy the outdoor exhibition of the Vehicle collection in a nocturnal atmosphere. The playful, colourful lights combined with the smoke puffs and sounds characteristic of the railway create a special mood and reveal new details. The locomotive engines and carriages are illuminated from the inside as well as outside thus bringing out and accenting parts and units of a train that would otherwise stay unnoticed to a casual on-looker. Several projections on the train carriages let the viewers experience the magical attraction and power of trains.
