16 THE MANIFESTATION OF LOVE

A colourful manifestation of love will blossom over the facade of the House of Black Heads – a visual poem reminding us that love is the strongest light, capable of illuminating even the oldest walls. The Manifestation of Love will be a colourful and heartfelt story filled with hope that will stay in our memories like a warm embrace in the heart of Riga’s Old Town.

Bright, pulsating colours – from hot pinks and gold to deep purples and sunny yellows – will flood the historic facade with living, breathing emotion. Projected images will flow like warm breezes: hearts blooming like flowers, clasped hands forming bridges across centuries, and abstract shapes of love dancing over Gothic arches and Renaissance windows. Every frame will express positive energy, light, whimsical and deeply human. Created using video-mapping technology, the story will do more than just illuminate the building, it will reveal its heart, transforming stone into a living manifestation of love.

This is an artwork in the first Old Riga route of light. In the exhibition of nine light artworks “Moment of Love”, the artists seek their own moments of love and definitions of love.
