40 LIGHT DESIGNER STARTER KIT

Vērmanes Garden Park

The object “Light Designer Starter Kit” was developed during the “Baltic Light Chain” summer school while studying the archetypes of light object development. What do viewers expect when viewing light objects? What is important and common between different light objects? What is the importance of interaction in a project? “Light Designer Starter Kit” is an interactive installation which gives the opportunity to create and shape the light object in any way imaginable. Select a building block – a cube of light – and begin building your own light installation! The object is on exhibit in Vilnius, Rīga and Gdansk as part of the “Baltic Light Chain” project.
