HEARTBEATS

Light installation
Vāgnera Street 13, courtyard of the Pharmacy Museum

The Heartbeats light object symbolizes the unity of strength and love, pure thoughts and the flow of feelings. It imaginatively portrays Latvia as a heart, as an intersection point of events and a confirmation of uninterrupted movement. The heart is illuminated in reddish and blue tones, which symbolize the interaction of two natures – the feminine and the masculine, passion and self-control, fervour and calm. The red fills life with passions and gratification, the blue provides protection and safety.
