Līvu Square
Being together and participating in group activities are parts of every festivity. During festivities, people of Latvia come together – to rejoice, to remember, to have a good time, and also to grieve. Togetherness plays a big part in our overall feeling at home. When celebrating the birthday of our country, the visitors of the festival are welcome to participate in the creation of light and candle installations by adding a light object of their own – a candle in a glass jar.
An installation is located in Līvu Square where visitors of the festival create a hearth of togetherness from candles – a city candle installation.
