The publishing house Rīgas Vilņi was founded in 1997. Through the years, it has created a variety of press issues for a wide range of readers and informed the people of Latvia about current events in our country. All these events and characters that we write and tell about collectively create the feeling of being at home in Latvia. This is exactly why the publishing house offers every visitor of “Staro Rīga” a unique opportunity to become a main character in a story about Latvia. As the publishing house is located in the very heart or Riga, Kaļķu Street, the visitors are welcome to take a picture for the cover of a magazine of their choosing and be in the centre of events dedicated to the stories about Latvia. In the “A Story of our Home” photo marquee, every visitor of “Staro Rīga” has the opportunity to become the main character of a story in a Rīgas Viļņi issue.
