Celebrating Latvia’s 96th birthday Riga bursts forth in bright lights, Staro Rīga 2014 International Festival of Light runs from the 14th to the 18th of November. Riga City Council, just as every year, transforms the city sky; this time a blossoming light ray saluting the anniversary of our national independence. Depending on weather conditions, the bloom will be visible from many kilometres away.
